Animal Science; It is a science that deals with breeding, breeding, care-feeding and breeding of domestic animals in order to economically produce animals and animal products. With the education and training in the Department of Animal Science, it is aimed to train and research the manpower that will work on the production, economic efficiency, care, feeding and evaluation of animals whose products are used.
Graduation RequirementsThe normal education period in our department is 4 years (240 ECTS). Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Education and Training Examination Regulations are valid.

Animal Physiology and Histology Laboratory
In our Animal Physiology and Histology Laboratory, laboratory applications of the undergraduate and graduate students of the Animal Science Department are carried out; Incubation experiments, sperm analysis and histological analyzes can be done with laboratory type incubators, egg storage cabinet, nitrogen tank, microscope with heating plate.

Animal Product Analysis and Evaluation Laboratory
In the Animal Product and Analysis Evaluation laboratory, laboratory applications of the courses of the undergraduate and graduate students of the Animal Science Department are carried out, analysis of milk components (fat, protein, lactose, non-fat dry matter, density, freezing point and mineral), determination of milk pH and somatic cell count analysis in milk. is done. In our laboratory, molecular identification processes are also carried out in farm animals at the DNA level.
