Field crops, which are grown in a large part of agricultural areas, have an important share in the country's economy. The aim of the Field Crops Department is to carry out educational activities in addition to scientific studies on the development, breeding and cultivation of field crops, which are the leading crops in crop production, and to train qualified agricultural engineers to be employed in the public and private sectors.
Field Crops Department started education in 2010 with 29 students. There are 3 Professors, 3 Associate Professors and 4 Assistant Professors and 1 Doctor Research Assistant in the department. Studies are carried out in the fields of Cereals, Edible Grain Legumes, Industrial Plants, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants and Meadow Pasture and Forage Crops.
Graduation Requirements
To be successful in courses with 140 credits (240 ECTS) for at least four years, to complete a summer internship of 30 working days.
