Our faculty member, retired professor of the Field Crops Department, Prof. Dr. Cafer Olcayto Sabancı, has passed away due to a heart attack. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones.

Note: Our professor's funeral will be held on October 11, 2022, following the noon prayer at Evka-2 in Izmir, and he will be buried at the Yeşilyurt Cemetery.
