
Members of the Advisory Board who spoke at the meeting expressed their satisfaction with this joint consultation and idea-sharing environment created by our Faculty. Yavuz Erence, General Manager of Kırşehir Sugar Factory, stated that they attach importance to projects addressing the growing water shortage problem in the region; in this context, they are ready to contribute not only with financial support but also with their institution's infrastructure capabilities and field experience to the work to be carried out.
Osman Kömürcü, representative of the Memişoğulları Group, stated that they would continue their support to our Faculty within the scope of University-Industry cooperation and emphasized the importance of actively involving farmers in these collaborations. Mevlüt Toprak, President of the Kırşehir Chamber of Agriculture, stated that farmers are unable to earn sufficient income, especially under difficult conditions such as water restrictions, and expressed their readiness to support projects aimed at solving these problems and their desire to contribute to efforts that will encourage the younger generation to embrace agriculture as a profession again.

Erol Doğan, President of the Kırşehir Sheep and Goat Breeders Association, emphasized the importance of projects focused on pasture improvement and water management, particularly in small ruminant farming, stating that work in these areas would encourage young people to return to agriculture. Battal Çelik, Secretary General of the Kırşehir Commodity Exchange, stated that they were ready to provide both financial and moral support for all the issues discussed at the meeting.
Bülent Zafer Taş, Kırşehir Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, emphasized that the agricultural sector is of strategic importance not only in terms of food production but also in terms of its impact on related sectors and rural welfare. He highlighted the importance of adapting to climate change, sustainable approaches that address water, energy, and food resources together, and stronger organizational models that will increase farmer welfare.

Kemal Layık, one of our faculty graduates, stated that it would be beneficial to more effectively communicate the high-quality projects carried out by our Faculty to the field and farmers.
Following the evaluation of the views and suggestions of the Advisory Board members, the meeting concluded with the hope that the cooperation between our Faculty and partner institutions would be strengthened and continued.
