The European Commission is still accepting applications for the project call entitled ‘Boosting Agrobiodiversity for Food Security and Sustainable Competitiveness’ under the Horizon Europe Programme.

The aim of this call is to support research and innovation projects aimed at strengthening food security by enhancing agricultural biodiversity, improving the resilience of agricultural production systems, supporting the economic sustainability of farmers, and reducing environmental impacts.

Projects are expected to focus on one or more of the following topics: The total budget for the call is 12 million euros, and it is envisaged that approximately 6 million euros in funding will be provided per project.
