As part of our faculty’s efforts to strengthen its culture of quality and pursue continuous improvement, the EFQM Internal Assessment Visit, which took place on 29 September 2026, was successfully completed.

The assessment team, comprising Associate Professor Dr Öznur Akgiş İlhan, Dr Ece Yoltay and Dr Meryem Gürler, evaluated the work carried out by our faculty as part of its preparations for the EFQM. The team thanked our faculty for the work undertaken during the preparation process and shared their views and recommendations for further development.

The meeting was attended by our Dean, Prof. Dr Selahattin Çınar; our Deputy Dean and Faculty Quality Co-ordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr Ömer Ertuğrul; our Faculty Quality Co-ordinator Assistants and EFQM Representatives, Dr Ayşe Çandar and Dr Derya Duran Gökalp; our EFQM Representative, Prof. Dr Mustafa Kan; and our Faculty Secretary, Bayram Ali Keleş.

Contributing to the work carried out within the framework of the EFQM criteria were: Criterion Leader 1, Prof. Dr Makbule Erdoğdu; Criterion Leader 2, Prof. Dr Mahmut Yılmaz; Criterion Leader 3, Prof. Dr Aziz Şahin; Criterion Leader 4, Prof. Dr Ramazan Beyaz; and 5. Criterion Leader Prof. Dr Sevil Sağlam Yılmaz, Criterion Leader No. 6 Prof. Dr Serdar Kamanlı and Criterion Leader No. 7 Prof. Dr Kadir Akan also attended the meeting.

In addition, Fatih Dağaslan, the Faculty of Agriculture’s Student Quality Ambassador; our research assistants Betül Ayça Dönmez Telek, Nami Kaan Kılızcan, Özlem Bahar, Tuğbagül Kocaman and Veli Atmaca; and faculty member Kadir Karaca also attended the meeting.

The visit, which took place with the participation of our academic and administrative staff as well as our student representative, provided an opportunity to jointly evaluate our faculty’s quality initiatives and exchange views on areas for improvement.
