A technical trip event was held on October 27, 2021 in order to contribute to the professional development of the students of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Economics. Within the scope of the trip, our students first visited Kenan Karadayı's fattening and breeding business in Seyrek Village. Our students, who have extensive knowledge about cattle feeding, then visited Kırşehir Istanbul Meat Combine and Kırşehir Feed Factory. Along with the short conversation in which business owner Ali Aslan shared his experiences, our students increased their knowledge with the questions they asked and the answers they received. The last stop of the trip was Emin Biogas facility. In this facility, they had the opportunity to see all the stages of the transformation of organic wastes into energy, accompanied by the authorities.Thanks to the technical trip, our students had the opportunity to closely examine the application of the knowledge they gained in the theoretical lessons. Our students, who had the opportunity to observe many processes from the red meat production process to the evaluation of waste, completed the technical trip with this experience.
