Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray KIRIKÇI, a faculty member of the Department of Animal Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, delivered lectures on genetic improvement and reproduction in farm animals to the students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Animal Science at the Faculty of Agriculture of Samarkand State University between February 3-7, 2025.

During his visit, he also engaged in idea exchange and experience sharing with faculty members from both universities regarding potential collaborative projects.

 

Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. KIRIKÇI conducted preliminary field studies on the genetic traits associated with the fleece and skin quality of the Uzbek Karakul sheep breed. Furthermore, he was interviewed by Uzbekistan 24 TV channel, where he provided insights into the planned collaborative projects between Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and Samarkand State University, aiming to analyze the genetic structure and improve the productivity of Uzbek sheep breeds.
