The training given by Prof. Dr. Yaşar Ertürk, a faculty member of the Department of Horticulture of Faculty of Agriculture, was carried out under the coordination of Kırşehir Public Education Directorate. The training, which provided theoretical and practical information on pruning and training methods, was completed practically in the fruit growing areas of the Open Prison Execution Institution.
The trainees who participated in the training process and were successful were entitled to receive a certificate at the end of the training. It was emphasized that such training activities are an important step for the prisoners to gain professional skills and contribute to agricultural production.
