As part of the Faculty of Agriculture Conferences series organized by the Faculty of Agriculture at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Assistant Professor Fevziye Şüheda HEPŞEN TÜRKAY gave a presentation on “Vermiculture Technology.”

The program, held in the faculty's conference hall, attracted interest from academic and administrative staff as well as students. The presentation provided comprehensive information on the basic principles of vermiculture, earthworm compost production processes, the efficiency of production systems, and their role in sustainable agricultural practices.

Mrs. Türkay provided explanations, supported by examples, on the development of vermiculture technology worldwide and in Turkey, its areas of application, the advantages it offers to farmers, and its economic potential. He particularly emphasized yield increases in organic farming, improved soil health, and environmentally friendly production models.

At the end of the program, questions posed by students and academics were answered, and a mutual exchange of views took place.
