During the meeting, comprehensive information was provided about Erasmus+ KA131 (Learning Mobility of Students and Staff between Program Countries) and KA171 (International Credit Mobility between Program Countries and Partner Countries) projects.
KA131 supports student and staff mobility with European Union member states and countries participating in the program, while KA171 projects enable reciprocal student and staff exchanges with partner countries outside Europe (e.g., higher education institutions in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas). In this context, the aim is to increase the number of existing bilateral agreements and develop new partnerships in line with our university's internationalization strategy.
The meeting also addressed institutional strategies for increasing Erasmus+ bilateral agreements, potential areas of cooperation at the department level, and how application processes should be structured within the framework of project logic. The importance of strongly structuring needs analysis, target audience definition, sustainability, institutional capacity, and impact dimensions in project writing was emphasized.
The meeting, which involved discussions on strengthening interdepartmental coordination, the active role of department Erasmus coordinators, and the effective use of international academic networks, concluded with the planning of concrete steps to enhance our faculty's international visibility and academic collaboration capacity.
Our faculty aims to increase student and staff mobility and further strengthen international academic interaction through new collaborations to be carried out within the scope of Erasmus+ programs.
