Students from the Department of Animal Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, are continuing their field visits to support their professional development. As part of this initiative, a technical visit was organised on 16 April 2026 to the Sefer ÜNLÜ Dairy Cattle Farm, located in Kuruağıl Village, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mehmet SARI, as part of the Professional Practice II and IV courses.

During the visit, farm officials shared their experiences with the students regarding the general operations of the facility, modern dairy cattle farming techniques and herd management. During the technical inspections, students had the opportunity to observe key topics on-site, including:

The planning of animal shelters and paddock layout,
The morphological characteristics and productivity criteria of dairy cattle breeds,
The ration preparation and feeding methods applied at the farm,
Silage production and manure management processes.

The technical visit concluded as a productive field experience that contributed to broadening the professional perspectives of the students, who are aspiring agricultural engineers.
