As part of the activities organised by the Social Contribution Coordination Unit, a lecture entitled ‘How Should We View the Palestinian Cause?’ was held in our Faculty’s Conference Hall, featuring Dr Izzet Gülaçar. This event, which addressed the humanitarian situation and historical context in the region, aimed to raise academic and social awareness.

Dr Izzet Gülaçar, a member of our university’s academic staff, delivered an enlightening seminar covering a broad spectrum, from the historical depth of the subject to its contemporary implications. During the session, which drew significant interest from participants, the importance of approaching the issue from a humanitarian and ethical perspective was emphasised.

Following the educational and informative session, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çınar, expressed his gratitude to Dr Izzet Gülaçar for his presentation and presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his contributions.

The event, which took place with the participation of our faculty’s academic staff and students, concluded with discussions on current issues.
