The Cacabey Science and Culture Festival, organized in conjunction with the R&D Project Market and Promotion Days—an annual event hosted by a different university each year under the auspices of the Union of Anatolian Universities—was held on May 15, 2026, at Cacabey Square, hosted by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. The event, which showcased innovative projects in the fields of Engineering and Basic Sciences, Biotechnology and Health Sciences, Agriculture-Food and Environmental Sciences, and Social and Humanities Sciences; The event drew significant attention with the participation of Deputy Minister of the Interior Bülent Turan, Kırşehir Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, members of parliament, judicial officials, rectors and vice rectors of universities affiliated with the Anatolian Universities Union, representatives of public institutions, academics, students, and numerous guests.

As part of the event, projects developed by researchers and students from various disciplines were evaluated with the aim of supporting innovative ideas and strengthening the interaction between academia, industry, and society.

Our faculty also participated in the event, which provided an opportunity to showcase its academic expertise and research capabilities. Our faculty representatives exchanged information with researchers from other universities through project exhibitions and scientific interactions, and explored opportunities for collaboration.

Our faculty’s participation in the event was regarded as a significant achievement in terms of fostering a culture of research and development, encouraging innovative work, and enhancing scientific visibility.
