The Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony, traditionally organized by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, was held on May 12, 2026, at the 15 July National Will Hall of the Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center, with a large turnout.
At the ceremony, TÜBİTAK Project Awards, Citation Awards, Young Scientist Awards, Science Incentive Awards, and Academic Service Awards were presented to faculty members who achieved success in various categories based on their academic performance in 2025, while certificates of appreciation were also presented to academic staff who retired after many years of service at our university.
During the ceremony, attended by the Rector’s Office and university administration, the importance of academic productivity was emphasized, and the contribution of scientific research to both institutional development and societal progress was once again highlighted. As part of the program, numerous academics from various faculties and departments were recognized with achievement awards and honored for their contributions to the university’s scientific output.
In this context, our esteemed faculty members working in the field of Agriculture also achieved significant accomplishments and were awarded prizes and certificates.
Prof. Dr. Makbule Erdoğdu, whose scientific work achieved the highest number of citations, was awarded the Citation Achievement Award, while
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alim Aydın stood out for his academic performance and received the Young Scientist Award. In the highest achievement ranking, Prof. Dr. Kadir Akan took first place,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Başak second place, and
Prof. Dr. Sedat Boyacı third place.
Meanwhile, among the faculty members at our university who have completed 20 years of service and earned a certificate of appreciation,
Prof. Dr. Mahmut Yılmaz, Prof. Dr. Makbule Erdoğdu, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Başak from our Faculty were also included. In this context, our faculty members, who have contributed to our Faculty and university for many years through both their scientific productivity and institutional commitment, were also recognized.
As our faculty continues to contribute to the scientific development of our university through its achievements in research, publishing, and project development, we congratulate all our faculty members who have received awards and honors, and we wish them continued success.
