Students from the Department of Biosystems Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, organized a technical visit to the Digital Zero Waste Laboratory at Mucur Vocational School to develop their professional skills as part of the “Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics” course taught by Assistant Professor Şaban Fındık.

During the technical visit, laboratory director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Akkaya provided students with a comprehensive briefing on the laboratory’s operations, the digital systems used, and the principles of zero waste. Under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akkaya, students conducted hands-on activities where they examined electronic circuit components firsthand, used measurement devices themselves, and closely observed energy efficiency and sustainable technology applications in the field of biosystems engineering.

The field trip, which was of great importance for putting the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom into practice in a real laboratory setting, was also extremely productive in broadening the students’ professional perspectives. Throughout the visit, the students engaged in an active and interactive learning experience by asking Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akkaya technical questions.

The department administration stated that practical training activities will continue on a regular basis moving forward and expressed gratitude to Mucur Vocational School, particularly Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Akkaya, for their interest and contributions.
