We participated in the 19th National Student Congress of Animal Science, hosted by Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University between 13 and 15 May 2026, as the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University. Represented by the active participation of our department’s academic staff and students, we achieved a proud success on behalf of our faculty at the congress.
The Department of Animal Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, made a dynamic impression throughout the conference, thanks to the guidance of its academic staff and the active participation of its students, who presented posters and oral papers.
At the conference, a study in the field of sheep farming—supported under the 2209 TÜBİTAK Student Projects scheme, supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koray KIRIKÇI, and presented by Ömer Faruk KÖKTAŞ, a student from our Faculty’s Department of Animal Science—was awarded the ‘Second Best Presentation Award’.
